Picsello's idea was to create an effective studio management platform that enables easy workflow and enhances conversions for their members.

My role on the project was to conduct user research and create an MVP prototype to show investors.

I was dedicated to understand the needs of the user target and define a working hypothesis for the primary and secondary challenges the typical potential user faced in their daily workflows.

After that I focused on field research by visiting 2 local photographic studios and observing their work in context.

Additional user feedback was gathered using the interview and survey methods; creating personas was a requirement.

The main challenge here was to simplify the product on the background of a vast feature palette, required in both the managerial and creative aspects of photographic work.

The stakeholders came from a photographic background themselves and already had exact requirements about the functionallities that the SaaS platform should offer users. The product was ment to successfully accompany studios throughout their entire workflow - from session booking and order management to after-sales and invoicing.

The Challenge

Feature palette

The evaluation of the research findings provided the basis for creating mid-fi wireframes and an interactive MVP prototype.

I created a seamless flow within the given frame of functionalities and features that allows users to manage operations and export documents quick and easy. The number of features pre-defined a clean and simple design.

  1. Effective and intuitive workflow

  2. Clean and simple design

  3. No compromises with functionalities and features
