Designing for a small electronic device is challenging because of several factors:

I was hired to design several drafts and the final version of a digital display panel with all adherent screen states for the various usage modes of a water filter device with electronic panel. The device was targeted at a specific audience and there were requirements for the design style to be feminine, stylish and classy.

High levels of resources are visualized with a gradient and icons.
Low levels of water and battery are visualized with a gradient and alert icons.
The number of device modes has changed several times. In the final version there are 4 modes.
Design System

Since the project had strict technical specs and requirements, I studied the parameters and took them as a starting point.
After carefully reviewing all project limitations, I started the ideation process.
During the concept phase I drafted several layout options and developed a few variations for color palettes, font styles and semiotics.
To be able to keep an eye on the overall device design and color at all times, to ensure a coherent and consistent design concept, I've framed the display panel accordingly. However in the final designs the frame is to be removed, because the factory needs just the screens.
I created 3 main concepts for the client to choose from and after several more iterations due to technical requirement changes I delivered the final solution.
